What's the different between interim managers and external consultants?
Consultants are parties external to your organizations; what you would have in place is a service contract with Exponesia, which provides the agreed services to your company through their staff. In the event you have interest in one of our senior staff to become an interim leader into your organization, upon a three-party mutual agreement, you would enter with the designated person into an interim employment contract for the agreed time of services. The designated person is now at all effects an employee of your company for the stipulated time. It will then be up to you to decide the authority s/he will be given in your organization (for instance regarding approving orders, authorizing expenses and payments, signing legal documentation, etc), through your formal delegation of authority process, similar to what done with your full-time executives.
